Who we are
This website is run by Everest Garage Doors, a garage door company based at 275 Grove Street Suite 2-400, Newton, Massachusetts 02466. You can reach us at (857) 420-4277. In this policy, "we," "us" and "our" mean Everest Garage Doors.
This policy applies to this website and to the information you share with us when you call, send a form or book a visit. It is written in plain language and is not legal advice.
Information we collect
Information you give us: When you fill out a form, call us or ask for a visit, you may share your name, phone number, email address, home or service address and details about your garage door or opener. We collect this so we can respond to you and do the work you ask for.
Information collected automatically: When you visit the site, we may receive basic technical details such as your browser type, device type, approximate location, the pages you view, how long you stay and how you move around the site.
Analytics and session recording
This site uses an analytics and session recording tool called PostHog. It helps us see how visitors use our pages, for example which pages are read, where people get stuck and which parts of the site are hard to use. We use what we learn to make the site clearer and easier to use.
Session recording captures things like mouse movement, clicks and scrolling so we can replay how a page was used. Anything you type into forms on this site is masked, so what you enter in a form field is not visible in the recordings.
PostHog may use cookies or similar technologies to recognize a browser between page views. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop you from using the site, though some analytics may be less accurate.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Reply to your calls, messages and form requests - Schedule and carry out garage door and opener service - Provide quotes and follow up about your job - Understand how the website is used and improve it - Keep the site secure and working properly - Meet our legal and record-keeping obligations
We do not sell your personal information
Everest Garage Doors does not sell personal information. We do not trade or rent your contact details to anyone for their own marketing.
We may share information only with service providers who help us run our business and website, such as the analytics provider named above, website hosting and the tools we use to receive your form messages. They may use the information only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights, our customers or our staff.
How long we keep information and how we protect it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it to serve you, keep reasonable business records and meet legal requirements. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no website or method of storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any records we are required to keep. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. To make a request, call us at (857) 420-4277 or write to us at the address above.
You can limit tracking by changing your browser's cookie settings or by using browser features or extensions that block analytics tools.
Children's privacy
This website is meant for adults who own or manage property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
This site may link to other websites, such as brand manufacturers or map services. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies before sharing information with them.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the updated version will be posted on this page. Please check back occasionally, especially if you plan to share personal information with us.
